On March 31st, both 4th grades traveled to the State
Capitol Museum in downtown Phoenix for a special field trip focused on
Arizona state history. The morning was filled with a tour of the museum,
a visit to the Senate, and even a meeting with our Senate District
Representative, John Nelson! Students both learned and shared
information about our great state with our tour guides, and students
also took lots of opportunities to pose great questions. The firsthand
experience gave the students a deeper appreciation and awareness of
Arizona history - past and present.
